    questo brano venne registrato per la prima volta dallo stesso autore nel 1934 col titolo “Milk cow blues”.
    Il pezzo sarà poi registrato anche da numerosi altri cantanti come Bob Crosby nel 1938 (Decca 1962), Johnny Lee Wills nel 1941 (Decca 5985), Moon Mullican nel 1946 che la intitolò “New milk cow blues” (King 607), Bob Wills And His texas Playboys nel 1946 col titolo di “Brain cloudy blues” (Columbia 20113) e da Ricky Nelson nel 1961 (Imperial 5707) il quale raggiunse il 79° posto nella Hot 100 di Billboard.
