Rispetto all'omonimo album americano, la scaletta è un po' diversa.
Il disco contiene canzoni sovraincise da David Briggs e da Tony Brown, assieme ad alcuni membri originali della band di Elvis quali Scotty Moore e DJ Fontana, con il coro dei Jordanaires.
Le quattro canzoni diverse rispetto al disco americano sono quelle con sovraincisioni incluse nel disco "This is Elvis" del 1981.

Qualche mese fa, per pochissimi euro, ho acquistato la stampa inglese dei CD ed hanno un suono sorprendentemente splendido ! E siamo nel 1987...
Consigliatissimo a tutti !

P.S. Il cofanetto in vinile è bellissimo e l'ho ascoltato molte volte.
Gran bella compilazione.

Cofanetto di 5 LP prodotto in Italia e, udite udite, compilato con criterio, perchè tocca i grandi temi riguardanti la carriera di Elvis (gli anni ’50, i primi ’60, le colonne sonore, i Gospels, il Country, il ritorno di fine anni ’60, Elvis d’autore con canzoni di Dylan e dei Beatles e i grandi brani live degli anni ’70).
Il cofanetto contiene un bel booklet ed una custodia / copertina semplice ma di ottimo impatto. Ovviamente non può competere con i boxes americani di quegli anni (Elvis Aron Presley e A Golden Celebration), pieni zeppi di inediti, ma è un prodotto italiano e, per una volta, insolitamente ben fatto!
Etichetta grigia “personalizzata” con silhouette di Elvis.
Il cofanetto non venne più ristampato.
Distribuito anche come campione non commerciabile, con la stessa etichetta tranne il secondo disco che ha l’etichetta bianca.
